Karl M. Hoegler, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and a board-certified dermatologist. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Born and raised in New Jersey, his undergraduate and medical education took him up and down the East Coast. Dr. Hoegler attended Providence College, where he graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program. He obtained his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors and was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey and a dermatology residency at the University of Maryland, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. After residency, he completed his fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (Mohs Surgery)
at the University of Florida. Dr. Hoegler practices surgical dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and exploring PA.
